We have an active group of home brewers here in S Cheshire and one of the things we do is co-ordinate group bulk buys of malt We buy 40 x 25kgs of malt (from Muntons or Crisp) by combining demand from about 40 home brewers. We are a not for profit consortium run by home brewers for home brewers Anyone can join us, there is no joining fee, and you collect the malt from CW11 We tend to order every couple of months; Covid-19 has disrupted this a little but we are planning our next buy for mid April assuming the current roadmap for easing lockdown remains on track.
