I haven’t yet made the move to making my homebrew from raw ingredients. I still use kits and add to them with additional hops to try and change the flavour to something more akin to what I’m wanting.
Anyone else do this? Got any successful kit+hop combinations?

I just do kits just now, I have a wilco velvet stout, a festival bonfire toffee stout and a bad cat imperial red ale kit to brew, I just transferred a coopers devils half porter to my king keg pressure barrel for the first time, I'll leave it two weeks in my brew fridge at 20 degs then into the cold and test
I do all grain, id recommend stove top brews with extract with some steeping grains then boil with some hops too it expands the choice you have in brews, then you can do split batches too and add different steeping grains to a split batch for 2 totally different brews
